Wong Gon Khiang brought
with him 32 years of experience in various
sectors extending from consultancy to
corporate and subsequently education. Prior
to joining UCSI Group, he served as Senior
Vice President, Regional Campus Management
of an education group overseeing the
regional campuses in the Klang Valley.
He was also the founder of
the Sabah campus and was instrumental in
setting it up and nurturing it into a
profitable concern. Before joining the
education industry, his foray into the
corporate sector was his stint as a corporate
planner in Kenso Corporation, a Singapore
concern.
He was also involved in
management and economic consultancy services
and had undertaken projects for Keretapi
Tanah Melayu, Club Tuanku Jaafar in Negeri
Sembilan including feasibility studies on
Janda Baik, Pahang as the new Federal
Territory. Gon Khiang holds a Master in
Business Administration from the University
of Malaya and a Bachelor of Science from the
same university.
