Kok Tee is a Fellow member of the Association of International Accountants, UK (one of the 5 professional accountancy bodies in UK and EEC qualified to be external auditors for PLCs) and also holds an MBA in Finance. He is also a Gold Mastery Certificate recipient in Strategic Management from the Haines Centre for Strategic Management®, USA, under its certification program sponsored by the University of San Diego.

 

He has got more than 35 years of senior management working experience of which 6 years were as in advisory, training and mentoring capacity. He is also a HRDF (Ministry of Human Resource) approved trainer (Cert. ref: TTT1983). In his more than 35 years of working experience, Kok Tee has taken positions in various capacities including those of Senior General Manager, Chief Financial officer, First Vice President as well as General Manager. He has been exposed in various industries including manufacturing, marketing and distribution, casino, quarrying, shipping, counter-trade and export services. Kok Tee has also worked with multinationals and public listed companies.

 

He is also a trainer/facilitator for Malaysian Institute of Accountants, many other professional training providers as well as in house facilitator for many companies. One of the popular training workshops is Strategic Thinking Planning and Management. Being a strong believer in BOS, its concept and tools are always included and recommended as the best and most powerful and practical strategy under the “Strategies Development” section of the workshop. In the business health management workshop, BOS is also highlighted as practical strategy in preventive and also possible turnaround measures.

 

Kok Tee was also invited to be a member of the panel of assessors to evaluate the final strategic plan presentation by participants of a group NGO's on their fundraising program organized by University Tuanku Abdul Rahman, a speaker on technopreneurship to final semester MBA students of GC University, Pakistan during their visit to Malaysia in December 2009 and as one of the featured speakers in the Asia Financial Controller Congress, 2010 on Reinventing Strategic Thinking, Planning and Management.

 

Kok Tee is also an active member of other professional bodies such as the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries, a body prescribed under the Malaysian Company’s Act to practice as Company Secretary, a life member of the Malaysian Institute of Directors, member of the Malaysian Institute of Management, Malaysian Association of Professional Speakers.
