Phillip's experience in sales, marketing, consulting and general management spans more than twenty years. This was predominantly within the high technology and telecommunications industries.
Phillip's career commenced with IBM. He worked with many of the global IT organization´s major clients on the alignment of their business and technology strategies to drive revenue growth. He developed a successful track record with international business development when he took on a general management and regional role for a Swedish software global enterprise to enter emerging market segments across the Asia Pacific countries. Phillip´s area of expertise is consulting with senior management of channel partner organizations in diverse markets to drive their sales, marketing and service delivery effectiveness.
Phillip's interest on the people aspects of organizational performance led him to join an in-country partnership representing Wilson Learning, a world leader in human performance improvement. He was able to further deepen his appreciation of how strategy, technology and people development can be better linked to drive business outcomes when he consulted with clients as a member of the Asia Pacific Learning Services regional management team for IBM Global Services.
In his current role as Country Manager for UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Center, Phillip sets and manages the strategic direction, financial expectations and performance of the Australia Office. He is responsible for driving business development and client relationship activities to facilitate engagement between the Regional Center and the different communities within the country.
He holds a Masters of Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan and currently resides in Melbourne, Australia.
