Heng Choon has vast experience in consulting and management.  He was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group from 1996-2003. Throughout his years serving in BCG, a leading global management and strategy firm, Heng Choon developed extensive experiences in strategy formulation, market assessment as well as reengineering for industries such as financial services, industrial products (including oil and gas), transportation (airlines and ports), and telecommunications.

 

Heng Choon moved to China in 2004 to join a start up company  invested by venture capitalists, where he successfully transformed the venture from a local company to a NASDAQ listed company. In his capacity as Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Financial Officer of hiSoft Technology International Ltd, Heng Choon had broad responsibilities covering corporate restructuring, fund raising, mergers and acquisitions, besides his day to day operational and management roles . HiSoft Technology International Ltd is now the leader in IT outsourcing, and is ranked #2 technology outsourcing company in China by IDC, serving clients from USA, Europe, Japan and China, with approximately 5,000 professionals in over 10 locations in the world.

 

Heng Choon attained his MBA degree majoring in Finance and Management Strategy from Kellogg Graduate School of Management Northwestern University in Illinois, USA.  He also graduated with first class honors in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University in Melbourne Australia.
