Ioan Carpus is Managing Partner of Six Paths Consulting Belgium, which offers strategy consulting and training to private and public sector organizations, using Blue Ocean Strategy.

 

Previously, Ioan was a Senior Fellow in Malaysia Blue Ocean Strategy Institute (MBOSI), an advisory and consulting body dedicated to increasing innovation in the public sector, in order to create a leap in the country’s economic and social progress.

 

Thanks to his creative and analytical mindset, Ioan successfully led top organizations to formulate and execute breakthrough strategies, helping them achieve sustainable profitable growth. His experience covers both the private sector - mainly Fast Moving Consumer Goods, pharmaceuticals, new media, e-learning, legal, metallurgy - and the public sector. His work and studies have taken him to several countries, including the UK, France, Belgium, Romania, Malaysia and Singapore.

 

Ioan has an MBA from INSEAD (France) and an LLB from Al. I. Cuza University (Romania). He is a Blue Ocean Strategy expert qualified by the BOS Initiative Centre (London) and mentored by Professor W. Chan Kim, the co-author of Blue Ocean Strategy.

 

Apart from Blue Ocean Strategy, Ioan’s areas of expertise include business model innovation, change management and social media. He is also passionate about traveling in South-East Asia, South American literature, snowboarding and scuba diving.
