Andrew leads our Australian operations with a vision to firmly embed Blue Ocean Strategy® into Australian management practice and business culture.
With over 25 years experience as a business manager, consultant, key account manager, business development and marketing manager, Andrew appreciates the challenges that leaders face in growing their organisations in changing times.
Having lived and worked in all the Australian capital cities and several regional areas, undertaken advisory work for businesses ranging from the ASX50 through to SMEs, start-ups and not-for-profits, in industries as diverse as professional services through to manufacturing and government departments and agencies at Local, State and Federal levels, Andrew brings an appreciation of issues from both a broad Australian and local context.
Prior to joining us, Andrew was a Director at Deloitte in Australia and has also held various management, business development, marketing and consulting roles at BDO, Mellon and Mercer.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Economics from Queensland University of Technology and holds PS146 qualifications in investment management and insurance.
He is a member of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Certified Practicing Marketer, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and sits on the industry advisory board of the Confucius Institute at Melbourne University (a not for profit organisation which fosters business cultural exchange between China and Australia).
Andrew also holds a Diploma in Music Composition and brings to all assignments an encouragement of creativity, exploration and inspiration, driven by rigorous technique, practice and peer review.
